How you can collaborate

The GMRDO continues to seek support in the form of monetary and non-monetary grants; as well as collaboration with sponsors of scholarships and parents of research students. In the capacity of clinical research organisation (CRO), contractual research is also welcomed.

As a community member: The GMRDO operates on the principle of Community-based Participatory Research (CBPR). This recognizes community members as (1) indispensable valuable partners, especially in the process of identifying health issues that are important to the community, as well as (2) not being ‘guinea pigs’ for business, publications only, or self-aggrandisement experiment. Therefore, community members are welcomed to enable us engage in health research that would lead to capacity-building on resources and strength of the community.

Any community member who is sponsoring a person (child, relative or scholarship awardee) capable of doing postgraduate research degree can sponsor such beneficiary to work with us on his/her chosen public health project.

As a corporate organization: The GMRDO seeks externally funded grants and contractual research services in the capacity of a clinical research organization (CRO), to supports its purposes. Therefore, corporate (governmental and private) organizations are welcomed to fund any health research of their choice. Funding can be in the form of direct financial grant, material donation, or provision of scholarship for a research student to undertake a research

Non-governmental organizations can sponsor their scholarship awardees that are interested and capable of doing postgraduate research degree to work with us on his/her chosen public health project.

Research teams working in low-mid income communities are welcomed for multicentre collaboration work.
